On January 31, 2024, a tragic accident occurred at Boise Airport when a 39,000 square-foot steel hangar under construction collapsed. This incident resulted in the deaths of three workers: Mario Sontay Tzi (32), Mariano Coc Och (24), and Craig Durrant (59). Additionally, nine others were injured, with five in critical condition.
